Project description
In a year-long project entitled „Mutuogenesis“, the association S27 and the Berlin Kunstgewerbemuseum plan to jointly develop a new form of communal living, learning and producing. The project is envisioned as a social sculpture, involving numerous international artists, designers, activists and young people with a migration or refugee background. Together they will highlight forms of applied and collaborative artistic practice and promote a reassessment of the arts and crafts and design. During the course of the project, the organisers will create an exhibition landscape comprised of participative lab stations, lectures, happenings and performances where visitors and museum staff are encouraged to experiment and create.
