Christl Baur

Christl Baur is head of the Ars Electronica Festival and an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in art history, cultural management and natural sciences. Her particular interest lies in the link between aesthetic and social practices which are based on collaboration and experimentation, and which challenge social, political and economic conventions. Her research touches on a broad range of subjects, e.g. video art, new media technologies, computer art, biotechnology and interactive art, whereby she focuses largely on the interface of art and science.
