Weddings and Trials

For his project "Wedding and Trials" in Skopje, Gent and Hamburg, the Belgian director Arne Sierens will be working together with musicians and actors on a piece which examines everyday rituals in various regions of Europe. One of the project's highlights will be the cooperation with the Roma wind orchestra "Kocani Orkstar", which originally began as a traditional Balkan wedding orchestra. In this project, specific local customs and traditions will come in direct contact with the modern language of theatre.
