Project description
The Berlin Theatertreffen is truly an Olympic event of German-language theatre. The festival invites the ten most remarkable theatre productions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Berlin every year. This year’s edition will take place 6th – 22nd May 2022.
The members of the Theatertreffen jury, Mathias Balzer, Georg Kasch, Sabine Leucht, Petra Paterno, Katrin Ullmann, Sascha Westphal and Franz Wille watched and discussed a total of 540 digital and live productions in 63 places during the past 12 months and made their selection of the ten most remarkable productions:
