Theatertreffen 2009: Here and Now
Theatre festival
The Berlin Theatertreffen is truly an Olympic event of German-language theatre. In accordance with its statutes, the festival invites the ten most remarkable theatre productions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Berlin in May every year.
Here and Now is the motto of the Theatertreffen 2009. The following productions from Berlin, Hamburg, Duisburg, Cologne, Munich, Sils-Maria, Vienna and Zürich were selected by the jury for the festival in Berlin:
