Of Finding and Losing

Inspired by Erich Maria Remarque's The Night in Lisbon and the motif of living under a false identity, the Theater an der Angel developed a production about the fate of immigrants and emigrants in the past and present. Audience members received a fake identity which they could drop or defend during the performance. The Theater an der Angel in Magdeburg believes in integrating the audience into its performances and encourages them to dance or shape the scenes as they go along. Of Finding and Losing did not take place at the Theatervilla, but was staged at a venue in the Magdeburg harbour.
