MehrKlang! Festival 2008

MehrKlang! is a network that unites the diverse, top-rate New Music scene in Freiburg. It includes such renowned orchestras as the ensemble recherche, Ensemble Aventure, Ensemble SurPlus, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and prominent institutions, such as the Freiburg College of Music and the Theatre of Freiburg.

Together they organized and held the first MehrKlang! Festival in 2008. The programme featured a wide variety of events, including concerts with the SWR Experimental Studio, discussions and forums on music education, aesthetics and current developments in New Music.
