The new Portikus art museum in Frankfurt/Main will present a series of exhibitions featuring southern European artists who played a key role in promoting academic and artistic practices in the Academy Remix project of relations - a programme initiated by the Foundation in cooperation with central and eastern European partners. Collaborating with students of the Städelschule, the Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi will hold a workshop aimed at developing a presentation concept for his works, in particular his (wall) drawings and performances. The artist plans to specifically take the students' points of view and topics of interest into consideration, e.g., forms of artistic protest and the problems surrounding dogmatic positions. Dan Perjovschi will also create large-format drawings for the exterior of the Portikus building which will remain on display after the exhibition.
