Mark Tansey

"In contrast to the assertion of one reality, my work investigates how different realites interact and abrade." This is how the New York painter Marc Tansey describes his work which has enjoyed an excellent reputation in the international art world for years. Tansey's paintings play on the routines of human perception while secretly probing art's function of insight. The Museum Kurhaus Kleve will honour Marc Tansey with his first-ever solo exhibition in Germany featuring his most important works.
