Land Art 1969 - From The Marzona Collection

The Moritzburg in Halle will not only be presenting the unique artworks of "Land Art" from the Marzona collection in Berlin. It will also be demonstrating to what extent a new artistic trend can establish itself in the public through medial cooperation. The basis of the exhibition, therefore, will be the TV show, "Land Art," produced by filmmaker Gerry Schum and broadcasted by the ARD in 1969. The exhibit will also include additional materials, such as magazine articles and posters, which defined "Land Art" for the first time.

Artists: Jan Dibbets (NL), Barry Flanagan, Richard Long (GB), Walter de Maria, Gordon Matta-Clark, Robert Morris, Robert Smithson (USA) and others
