Interference. Viruses. Models. Tricks.

The projected collective exhibition presents work by women artists and scientists exploring new biotechnologies. It will be hosted by the City of Bremen. On view will be large-scale installations in the Galerie für aktuelle Kunst, projects in public areas and an event with the theme Kunstfehler [medical malpractice, but can also mean fault of art] by the Viennese artist Andrea van der Straeten. An international symposium is also planned for January 2003, with contributions by 35 women scientists from many disciplines as well as artists.
