Got The Look!
Visual representation plays a significant role in the spread of pop music. Until recently, this topic was largely reduced to the design of album covers. Uwe Husslein is curating an exhibition in the Museum of Applied Art in Cologne which will present an overview of the development of graphic art in connection to pop music over the past 50 years. The posters and flyers on display provide evidence of the strong influence the newest printing technology had on the various media of the times.
